Pitch Curator
Prepare and look after the turf and the six net lanes so every game plays true.
The playing surface is the product. As our pitch curator you own the turf and the six cricket net lanes: how they look, how they play, and how long they last.
What you will do
- Prepare the turf and net lanes every day before the first booking
- Brush, clean, mark and repair the surfaces on a set routine
- Check nets, mats, stumps and boundary equipment, and fix or report damage
- Keep the maintenance log, and plan bigger work around the booking calendar
- Work with the manager on any surface that needs to come off sale
You are a good fit if
- You have looked after cricket pitches, turf grounds or sports surfaces before
- You notice small problems before players do
- You can start early, before the venue opens
