Why round

Box cricket is usually played in a rectangle. Ours is round, floodlit, and ringed by seats, with indoor nets, a pool and pickleball courts on the same site. One address for the team, the kids and the Sunday regulars.

  1. Box cricket

    Play the whole night under lights.

    Round floodlit turf sized for box cricket and five-a-side football, ringed the whole way round by seating.

    Get a team together and settle it.

    Practice that does not stop for rain.

    Six covered indoor practice lanes with full run-ups. One is rigged for a bowling machine and one is sized for kids.

    The easiest game here to pick up.

    Two outdoor pickleball courts with floodlights. Courts are identical, so book whichever is free.

    Swim without hiring the whole pool.

    A 30 x 20 ft outdoor pool. Sold by the hour as individual places rather than as a whole-pool hire, so a session can be shared.
